Ding ding ding
                  Announcing the next movienight

So, a long time ago, at a place where I used to work, this person
brought in a stack of VHS tapes given to her by a friend at a video
store.  They were the store's discards; she had already picked
through to get the ones she wanted and then left the rest for us to
help ourselves.  There was a simple sign that said, "Free Videos."

Over the next two days those tapes disappeared one by one.  Soon
there was only one left.  That one sat there for another two days,
untouched, all alone.  I walked past that tape time and again until
finally I realized, Oh yes, Movienight.

The film:  Space Cowboys, starring Clint Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones,
  Donald Sutherland and James Garner.  Our boys go save some
  Russkies in trouble!  "Packed with an irresistable payload of
  heart, humor and heroics, Space Cowboys is all-systems-go."
  Oh man, how could you miss it?!

When: Thursday, April 21st, anytime after 6pm, dinner is 7:30
  precisely, movie starts at 8:30 sharp.  Jeering starts at 8:31.
  You are welcome to not watch the movie.

Where:  Casa de Mical, California

For our menu (thanks to Emily for the excellent suggestion), in
keeping with the spirit of the movie's fine actors...Tommy Lee
Jones, Clint, Donald Sutherland...we will be enjoying a ranch-themed
cuisine.  A Southwest menu it will be, with barbequed chicken salad
on toasted tortilla picks, baked beans, chorizo paella, "Buffalo
Hump Chili," Texas Eggs, chili corn, stuff like that, all adorned
with slices of jalapeno, slabs of avocado, and red hot bullets.  Got
other recipes to recommend?  Send 'em our way!

And the movie is Space Cowboys, so of course we will be enjoying
freeze-dried NASA-style berries and "ice cream" for dessert.  Mmmm!
You gotta love that freeze-dried food-flavored cardboard!
